A good management company serves as your advocate during and after the purchase of your aircraft. A good management company aligns your interests with their own. The integrity of the professionals you entrust to fly, maintain and manage your aircraft determine the success of the program.
Total financial transparency is a core principle of our company. We fully disclose our profit centers to our clients. All other expenses related to the management and care of your aircraft are charged at cost.
On a monthly basis, Arcadia’s clients receive period and inception-to-date financial statements that provide a clear and accurate explanation of all costs associated with the ownership and management of their aircraft.
You deserve the peace of mind of knowing that this investment is being managed by capable professionals whose interests are aligned with yours. At Arcadia Aviation, there are no hidden costs and no conflicts of interest.
The primary benefit of ownership is that your aircraft is flown and maintained by your dedicated crew. Your crew should be intimately familiar with your specific aircraft, not merely the aircraft ‘type’. Your pilots should be familiar faces to you on every flight; dedicated to your aircraft, not drawn from a pool of pilots. Similarly, your aircraft should have its own dedicated maintenance technician who knows your plane inside and out. At Arcadia, safety begins with the hiring of the dedicated team that will care for you and your aircraft.
One of the most attractive features of Arcadia’s full ownership program is the flexibility it affords the owner. Hourly ownership costs drop the more the aircraft is utilized either by the owner or revenue paying charter customers. The more an owner flies the more hours he can allocate his fixed costs over, but the fewer hours he has available to generate charter revenue to offset those fixed costs. Conversely, the less an owner utilizes his aircraft the higher the fixed cost per hour is, but the more charter hours are available to offset the fixed cost. The owner is not penalized if he doesn’t use his aircraft as much as intended.
The central features of Arcadia’s full ownership program are:
Aircraft owners who want the benefits of private aviation without the management responsibilities have driven the rapid growth of full ownership and fractional programs. The essence of these programs is simplicity. Arcadia is responsible for everything that occurs behind the scenes – hiring and training pilots, overseeing the maintenance of the aircraft, dealing with regulatory issues, catering, 24/7 flight planning, international bookings, dispatch, and much more.
Arcadia’s core expertise is the safe and efficient operation of your aircraft. Arcadia’s management program is backed by superior infrastructure, which begins with the facilities and extends to the dedicated team of pilots, maintenance and customer service personnel overseeing every aspect of the care of your aircraft.
A commitment to your safety is our single most important responsibility and in our view, this begins with the hiring of a dedicated crew to fly your aircraft. Your pilots should be familiar faces to you on every flight; dedicated to your aircraft, not drawn from a pool of pilots.
At Arcadia, after every mission your aircraft returns to its home base where your dedicated maintenance team performs a post-flight review, the aircraft is cleaned and readied for its next mission. The aircraft is stored in a secure hangar, fueled, cleaned and maintained by your team week in and week out.
All major repairs will be done at the manufacturer or a manufacturer’s authorized service center. An authorized representative from Arcadia will accompany the aircraft during these scheduled visits to provide accountability and cost management controls.
100% dispatch reliability is what you need to expect from your management company. When you call for your aircraft it will be ready. Should a charter scheduling or maintenance conflict arise, a substitute aircraft will be dispatched with 24 hour advance notice. Arcadia works with a select group of charter operators who provide supplemental uplift when your aircraft is not available.
The economics of owning an aircraft become more attractive as aircraft utilization is increased and hourly operating costs are decreased. There are two ways to achieve full aircraft utilization. Fractional aircraft programs divide the total hours of annual use amongst multiple owners, each of whom owns a share of an aircraft. Full ownership programs allocate utilization between a single owner (two at the most) and revenue producing charter flights when the owner is not utilizing their aircraft.
These two ways of managing operating costs – entering into a fractional share or offsetting ownership costs with charter revenue – represent different approaches to cost management. The key here is who gets paid for utilization? In a full ownership program, where full aircraft utilization is achieved through the combination of owner flight time and revenue producing charter time, every hour an aircraft is chartered generates income that can be applied to reduce an owner’s cost of ownership.
The interests of the owner and the company are aligned in a good management program and, these benefits accrue to the owner. Arcadia views charter as an integral part of a successful management program and a key tool to managing the ongoing operating expense of the aircraft.
Arcadia’s Charter Management Program handles the brokering, scheduling and logistics support for your aircraft. With centralized dispatch and facilities located at airports that directly serve the top charter markets in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, Arcadia is positioned to generate charter revenue that will meaningfully reduce your cost of ownership.
